I am an Assistant Professor at Harvard Law School, where I previously served as Lecturer on Law, Associate Director of the Program on Corporate Governance, and Terence M. Considine Senior Fellow in Law and Economics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My research<\/a> interests are in corporate law and governance, empirical law & finance, legal theory, and the political and moral dimensions of markets. My papers appear or are forthcoming in the Business Lawyer, Cornell Law Review<\/em>, Harvard Business Law Review<\/em>, Harvard Journal of Sports and Entertainment Law<\/em>, Hastings Law Journal<\/em>, Journal of Corporation Law, Journal of Law and Economics, Journal of Legal Analysis<\/em>, Southern California Law Review<\/em>, University of Pennsylvania Law Review Online, Vanderbilt Law Review, <\/em>and Yale Journal on Regulation<\/em>. I have also published articles for a broader audience in The Atlantic<\/em>, the Boston Review, <\/em>and the Harvard Business Review.<\/em> My research has been featured, among other places, in Bloomberg Opinion<\/em>, the Economist<\/em>, the Financial Times<\/em>, <\/em>the New York Times<\/em>, and the Wall Street Journal<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to joining Harvard, I spent more than a decade in private practice, working on transnational corporate deals at leading law firms in Europe and the United States, including as as an associate in the corporate and M&A group of Kirkland & Ellis in New York, and as a partner at a leading Italian law firm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have a law degree from the Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, and a doctorate (S.J.D.) from Harvard Law School.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
